Nusantara Constitutional Law (NUCLA) is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on the study of constitutional law, constitutionalism, and state governance in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Asia, Europe, United Stated of America, and the Middle East. The journal publishes research articles, doctrinal studies, and comparative analyses on issues such as state institutions, judicial power and constitutional courts, human rights, decentralization and regional autonomy, and the dynamics of checks and balances among branches of government.
NUCLA aims to be an academic forum that bridges local legal perspectives (Nusantara wisdom) with global constitutional theory, in order to promote interdisciplinary scientific dialogue among academics, legal practitioners, and policymakers in strengthening a democratic and just rule of law.
